The Afro-Canadian Zero store.
MonimpriméWax is a company that manufactures African inspired accessories: sustainable and eco-responsible products, to help you reduce the weight of your trash, to live in a simpler way, without waste and by limiting your impact on the environment.
A movement that is gaining ground.
What we now call “zero waste” is a desire by civil society to considerably reduce the amount of waste it produces. “When we know that 99% of the resources taken from nature are relegated to the rank of waste in less than forty-two days.”
Fortunately, there are alternatives that exist, using reusable, biodegradable and sustainable items.
Our products are carefully handcrafted in our workshop in Boisbriand, Quebec. Our goal is to offer you unique creations that will meet your needs.
I always dreamed of having my own business. However, I wondered for a long time on the question: what could I sell? This passion led me to work in several ready-to-wear stores, as a cashier, salesperson and manager of Urban Behavior and HKR.
Years go by, I found my family, I work as a medical archivist, while continuing to think about my project. However, I understood that my project must be an extension of me. It was to be oriented in Congo (Country of origin). So, I connected business with pleasure by presenting to you: Tote bag, Bowl cover and much more African Wax print handmade products. A print recently put in the spotlight in the world of fashion and interior design. Geometric patterns and bright colors, it is becoming more and more essential in decoration, fashion, and various accessories. Nicknamed “African fabric”, this atypical material is waxed on both sides. More than a fabric, wax is, for many like me, one of the symbols of Africa.
Yes! It all starts with the reception of our fabrics. Production is planned so that nothing is thrown away. I start by creating products that use the most fabric, including wax tote bags or bowl covers.
When that is no longer possible, I use my fabrics to make snack bags and to finish kitchen sponges. These sponges are then stuffed with pieces of fabric, leaving us nothing to throw away.
At MonimpriméWax , you buy fun, colorful and eco-friendly products that will help you preserve our beautiful planet.
